F or the fourth year in a row, POLICE Magazine and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) are sponsoring special low-cost law enforcement training programs at the Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in January. e Law Enforcement Education Pro- gram (LEEP) at SHOT 2018 lets officers attend high-quality training sessions for $25. at fee allows any sworn officer who is registered to attend the SHOT Show (scheduled for Jan. 22–25 in Las Vegas) to take in as much LEEP training as they wish. For an additional fee officers can also attend a special pre-SHOT, all-day pro- gram on Jan. 21 titled "e Most Defen- sible Position Possible." Presented by the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA), "e Most Defensible Position Possible" will focus on recent civil litiga- tion cases that affect law enforcement operations. For more information, go to www.ntoa.org/ntoashot. e LEEP program is organized into two tracks, one presented by NTOA and the other sponsored by key vendors of law enforcement tools and services. e NTOA track includes: "Active Shooter Update" and "Top Tactical Con- cepts for Law Enforcement Operations." e vendor track includes: "How Do We Train the Elephant to Respond Under Stress," presented by VirTra; "Universal Defensive Tactics: at was en, is is Now;" presented by Condor; "Using Re- flex Sights on LE Handguns," presented by Trijicon; "Counter Ambush: Care Under Fire," presented by Skydas Group; "Law Enforcement Precision Marksmanship," presented by Daniel Defense; "Projectile Selection Based on Active reat," pre- sented by Gorilla Ammunition; "Shoot- ing Range Acoustics," presented by Troy Acoustics; and "Optics to Increase Surviv- ability for Law Enforcement Officers in Unpredictable Environments," presented by ELCAN.
